Day-by-Day Itinerary

1. Day 1

   Airport – Marrakech Sightseeing

   Your Best 9 Days Tour from Marrakech begins with pickup from Marrakech Airport and transfer to your accommodation. After settling in, meet your local guide and begin exploring the fascinating city of Marrakech.

   Discover the historic Medina, traditional souks, beautiful palaces, gardens, and important landmarks. Continue to the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square, where you can experience the lively atmosphere of the city and explore the surrounding streets and markets.

2. Day 2

   Marrakech City – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou and Dades Valley

   Leave Marrakech in the morning and cross the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Continue towards Telouet, where you can visit the historic Kasbah of Glaoui and discover the fascinating architecture of this former caravan route.

   Continue through the scenic Ounila Valley towards Ait Ben Haddou, one of Morocco’s most famous fortified villages and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore its narrow streets and traditional earthen buildings before continuing towards Ouarzazate.

   Depending on time, visit the cinema studios and Taourirt Kasbah, then continue through the Skoura Oasis and the beautiful Valley of Roses towards the Dades Valley.
   As the tour continues towards Ouarzazate, enjoy a stop at the cinema studios and the iconic Taourirt Kasbah for a chance to capture some stunning photos. Cross the palm grove of Skoura and follow the valleys of Figs and Roses to reach the magnificent Dades Gorges, where you will spend a night at a delightful riad in the Dades Valley.

3. Day 3

   Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Erfoud then Merzouga Desert

   After breakfast, continue your journey through the dramatic landscapes of southern Morocco. Travel towards Tinghir and explore the spectacular Todra Gorge, where towering canyon walls create one of the most impressive natural landscapes in the region.

   Continue through the Tafilalt Oasis towards Erfoud, known for its fossils and desert landscapes. From Erfoud, travel towards Merzouga and the magnificent Erg Chebbi dunes.

   In the afternoon, meet your camel guide and begin your trek across the golden dunes. Enjoy the changing colors of the Sahara as the sun sets, then arrive at your desert camp for a traditional dinner, music, and a memorable evening beneath the stars.
   As we traverse the breathtaking desert landscape, we arrive at the charming town of Merzouga, where your experienced camel guide will lead you to the magical Erg Chebbi dunes to witness an unforgettable sunset. Spend the night under the dazzling stars of the Sahara in our cozy nomadic tents, indulge in delicious campfire meals, and immerse yourself in the unique culture of the desert.

4. Day 4

   Merzouga desert Sightseeing

   Wake early to enjoy the beautiful Sahara sunrise before breakfast. Later, explore the desert surroundings on a 4×4 excursion and discover the different landscapes around Merzouga.

   Visit a traditional nomadic family and learn about their way of life in the desert while enjoying traditional tea. Continue to Khamlia, a small village famous for its Gnawa music.

   Enjoy lunch in the village before continuing your desert adventure. Later, return towards the dunes and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the Sahara.
   Next, visit a nomadic family and experience their daily life in the desert, where they breed goats and camels. Sip on traditional tea and immerse yourself in their unique culture.

   For lunch, head to the village of Khamliya and indulge in a mouthwatering Berber meal while enjoying the captivating sounds of Gnaoua music.

   As the day winds down, return to the desert camp on camelback and relish in a delicious dinner while being serenaded by Berber music. 5. Day 5

   Merzouga Desert – Ziz valley – Middle Atlas and Fes

   Leave Merzouga and travel towards Rissani, one of the historic towns of southeastern Morocco. Continue through Erfoud and the spectacular Ziz Valley, with its extensive palm groves and dramatic mountain scenery.

   Continue north towards Midelt, passing through changing landscapes as the desert gradually gives way to the mountains. Travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains and stop around Azrou to visit the famous cedar forest, where you may have the opportunity to see Barbary macaques.

   Continue to Fes, arriving later in the day.

6. Day 6

   Fes – Volubilis – chefchaouen

   After breakfast, leave Fes and travel towards Meknes, one of Morocco’s historic imperial cities. Explore some of its important landmarks, including the famous Bab Mansour gate and the historic areas surrounding the Medina.

   Continue to Volubilis, Morocco’s most important Roman archaeological site. Explore the ancient ruins, monumental remains, and beautifully preserved mosaics while learning about the history of this fascinating site.

   After the visit, continue through the Rif Mountains towards Chefchaouen, arriving in the afternoon. Spend some time exploring the famous blue-painted streets and charming squares of the city.

7. Day 7

   Chefchaouen – Casablanca

   Start the day with more time to explore Chefchaouen and its beautiful blue Medina before continuing towards Rabat, the capital of Morocco.

   Visit some of Rabat’s most important landmarks, including the Hassan Tower and the historic Kasbah of the Udayas. Continue towards Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city.

8. Day 8

   Casablanca – Marrakech

   Begin the day with a visit to the impressive Hassan II Mosque, beautifully located beside the Atlantic Ocean. Take time to admire its architecture and spectacular setting before beginning the journey back towards Marrakech.

   Upon arrival in Marrakech, continue exploring the Medina and the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa area. Enjoy some free time to shop, relax, or discover more of the city’s vibrant atmosphere.

9. Day 9

   Marrakech – Airport

   After breakfast, enjoy some free time depending on your flight schedule. At the appropriate time, your private driver will transfer you to Marrakech Airport for your departure.
