Day-by-Day Itinerary

1. Day 1

   Ouarzazate – Rose Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud then to Merzouga

   Embark on a 2-day journey from Ouarzazate to the Merzouga Desert. After breakfast, we’ll set off on the “thousand kasbahs” route towards the towering Todra Gorges, a hiker’s paradise, where we take a stroll along the Todra River.

   For lunch, you have the option to dine at a local restaurant. Later, we’ll continue our journey to Erfoud, where we’ll explore ancient fossil quarries. Our next stop will be the magnificent Erg Chebbi sand dunes in Merzouga.

   In the afternoon, we’ll embark on a camel ride through the desert, leading us to a Berber tent where we’ll spend the night. On the way, we’ll catch the sunset from a gigantic dune. Before we sleep under the starry skies, the Berber musicians will entertain us with their traditional music.

2. Day 2

   Merzouga – Rissani – Tazarine – Draa Valley – Agdz then Ouarzazate

   Don’t miss the breathtaking sunrise in the desert, it’s an absolute must-see. After breakfast at the camp, you have the option to take a ride by camel or 4×4 vehicle back to the meeting point. After that, we’ll drive back to Ouarzazate on a different road, passing through Tafilalet, Tazarine, N’kob, and the Rissani village,which is surrounded by palm groves.

   Our journey culminates at the magnificent Draa Valley, renowned for its impressive palm oasis. Later in the afternoon, we’ll traverse the Anti-Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n Tnifift pass (1660m), and eventually arrive at our final destination, Ouarzazate.
