Itinerary: 6 days Tour from Agadir to Merzouga

1. Day 1

   Arrival in Agadir

   Welcome to Morocco! When you arrive at Agadir Airport, your driver will meet you and take you to your hotel.

   If you arrive early, you can spend some time relaxing at the hotel or take a walk along Agadir’s famous beach and promenade. There is no need to rush today, so you can settle in and enjoy your first evening in Morocco.

2. Day 2

   Guided tour of Agadir

   After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed day exploring Agadir with a local guide.

   Start with the hilltop viewpoint for a beautiful panorama over the city and coastline. Then head to Souk El Had, Agadir’s largest market, where you can browse local handicrafts, spices, fresh produce, and other Moroccan products.

   Later, visit the marina and enjoy some free time by the beach. You can also stop for lunch at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel.

3. Day 3

   Travel from Agadir to Ouarzazate

   Today we leave the coast behind and begin our journey towards the south.

   Our first stop is Taroudant, a beautiful walled town with a relaxed atmosphere and traditional souks. From here, we continue towards Taliouine, an area famous for producing saffron.

   The road then takes us through Taznakht, a small town well known for its colorful handmade carpets. It’s a good opportunity to see some of the traditional crafts that are still part of everyday life in southern Morocco.

   By the afternoon, we reach Ouarzazate, where you can relax after the drive and enjoy the evening.

4. Day 4

   Ouarzazate – The Roses Valley – Gorges Toudra and Merzouga Desert

   Today is one of the most exciting days of the 6 Days Tour from Agadir to Merzouga.

   After breakfast, we follow the famous Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing through changing landscapes and the Valley of Roses before reaching the Dades Valley.

   We continue to the spectacular Todra Gorge, where enormous limestone cliffs rise on both sides of the valley. You’ll have time to stretch your legs and take a short walk through the gorge.

   From there, we continue through Erfoud towards Merzouga. As we approach the Sahara, the landscape gradually changes and the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi come into view.

   In the late afternoon, you’ll leave the vehicle behind and begin your camel trek into the Sahara. Ride across the dunes while watching the colors of the desert change as the sun goes down.

   At the camp, enjoy dinner, traditional music, and a peaceful evening beneath the stars.

5. Day 5

   Merzouga – Rissani – Draa Valley – Agdz – Ouarzazate

   If you are an early riser, this is the perfect morning to watch the sunrise over the Sahara dunes. After breakfast, we leave Merzouga and continue towards Rissani, an important historic trading town in the region.

   The journey continues through the desert landscapes towards N’Kob and the spectacular Draa Valley. The valley is famous for its huge palm groves, traditional villages, and ancient kasbahs stretching along the oasis.

   We then cross the Anti-Atlas Mountains before returning to Ouarzazate.

   After a beautiful day on the road, you can relax at your hotel and enjoy a quiet evening.

6. Day 6

   Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

   After breakfast, we visit one of the most famous places in Morocco, Ait Ben Haddou.

   This ancient fortified village, built from earthen architecture, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has appeared in a number of international film and television productions. Take your time to walk through its narrow lanes and enjoy the views from the upper part of the village.

   From Ait Ben Haddou, we continue towards Marrakech, crossing the spectacular High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Along the way, there are several opportunities to stop for photographs and enjoy the mountain scenery.

   We arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon or early evening.
