Itinerary: 1 Day Trip From Marrakech to Ait Ben haddou

1. Day 1

   Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

   Your Ait Ben Haddou day trip from Marrakech begins around 8:00 AM with a pick-up from your hotel or riad. We’ll leave Marrakech and head toward the High Atlas Mountains, following the winding road toward the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass.

   Along the way, we’ll make stops at scenic viewpoints where you can admire the mountain valleys, traditional villages, and changing landscapes. The drive offers plenty of opportunities to take photographs and experience a different side of Morocco beyond Marrakech.

   After crossing the Atlas Mountains, we’ll continue toward Ait Ben Haddou, passing through the beautiful Ounila Valley. Once we arrive, you’ll have time to explore the historic ksar, walk through its narrow passages, and admire the distinctive mud-brick buildings built into the hillside.

   You can enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing your exploration of the area. Your driver can also suggest good viewpoints for photographs of the kasbah and surrounding landscape.

   In the afternoon, we’ll begin our return journey to Marrakech, crossing the High Atlas Mountains once again. We’ll make stops along the way when appropriate before arriving back in Marrakech around 6:00 PM.
