Itinerary: 9 Days Morocco Tour from Fes

1. Day 1

3. Day 3

   Fes – Azrou – Midlet – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

   Leave Fes behind and travel south through the beautiful Middle Atlas Mountains. Along the way, pass through the cedar forests around Azrou and continue towards Midelt, surrounded by impressive mountain scenery.

   The route then leads through Errachidia and the spectacular Ziz Valley, with its palm groves and dramatic landscapes, before reaching Merzouga.

4. Day 4

   Visit a traditional nomadic family and learn about their lifestyle in the Sahara before continuing to Khamlia, a village known for its Gnawa music and cultural traditions.

   Enjoy a local lunch and explore more of the surrounding desert landscapes before returning to your accommodation in Merzouga.
   For lunch, we’ll stop in the charming village of Merzouga, where you’ll enjoy a traditional local meal and experience the authentic culture of the area. After lunch, return to your comfortable riad in the desert, where you can relax, unwind, and take in the calm and serene surroundings of the Sahara.

5. Day 5

   Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

   Continue west from Merzouga towards Rissani, an important historic town in southeastern Morocco. Travel through the beautiful Tafilalt Oasis before reaching Tinghir and the spectacular Todra Gorge.

   Take time to walk through the impressive canyon and admire its towering rock walls. Afterwards, continue towards the Dades Valley, passing traditional villages and dramatic mountain scenery along the way.
