Itinerary: 3 Days Trip From Fes To Merzouga Desert

  1. Day 1

    Fes – Midelt – Merzouga

    Your adventure begins with a morning departure from Fes. We’ll head south through the beautiful Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through cedar forests and mountain villages.

    Along the way, we’ll stop around Midelt before continuing towards Errachidia and the spectacular Ziz Valley, where the green palm oasis contrasts beautifully with the surrounding rocky landscape.

    As we approach Merzouga, the scenery gradually changes into the vast desert. By the afternoon, we’ll arrive near the Erg Chebbi dunes, where you’ll meet your camel guide.

  2. Day 2

    After exploring the area, we’ll return to Merzouga for a relaxing evening and another night surrounded by the peaceful atmosphere of the Sahara.

  3. Day 3

    Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Fes

    After breakfast, we’ll begin our journey back to Fes. Depending on your preference, you can start the morning with a camel ride or return by vehicle. We’ll travel through Rissani, one of the historic towns of the region, before continuing towards Erfoud, famous for its fossils and desert landscapes.

    The journey then takes us through the Ziz Valley and back across the Middle Atlas Mountains, with stops along the way to enjoy the scenery and take photos.
